This tiger swallowtail butterfly design is available as a PDF download or as a quilling kit. It is made using Delightfully Edgy 3mm quilling strips and measures about 7 3/4” x 5 1/2". This pattern includes directions for both the male and female tiger swallowtail butterflies. The male butterfly has a lighter yellow pattern with less blue while the female has darker yellow pattern with more blue. Instructions are included for both 3d and flat body types.
Supplies needed for this design:
1. Delightfully Edgy 3mm quilling paper in: Black, Pale Yellow (Male), Dark Yellow (Female), Blue and Red
2. Quilling needle
3. Glue
4. Circle guide with mm sizes: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
5. Quilling comb (pick comb style)
6. Cork work board, or other board that allows you to use pins to secure pieces
7. Pins
8. Parchment paper or waxed paper
9. Tweezers
