This eastern black swallowtail butterfly design is available as a PDF download or as quilling kit. It is made using 3mm quilling strips and measures about 7" x 5 3/4". This pattern includes directions for both the male and female Eastern Black Swallowtail butterflies. The male butterfly has a larger brighter yellow pattern with less blue while the female has a smaller lighter yellow pattern and more blue. Instructions are included for both 3d and flat body types.
Supplies needed for this design:
1. Delightfully Edgy 3mm quilling paper in: Black, Pale Yellow (Male), Cream (Female), Baby Blue, and Red
2. Quilling needle
3. Glue
4. Circle guide with mm sizes: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 24
5. Cork work board, or other board that allows you to use pins to secure pieces
6. Pins
7. Parchment paper or waxed paper
8. Tweezers
